The 20th Conference of the Party Executive Committee of Vietnam National Shipping Lines (expanded): Comprehensive assessment of the first quarter and implementation of key tasks for the second quarter of 2025 - Vietnam National Shipping Lines - VIMC

On April 15, 2025, in Hanoi, Vietnam National Shipping Lines (VIMC) held the 20th Party Executive Committee Conference (expanded) to review the results of Party building and production and business activities in the first quarter, and at the same time set out key tasks for the second quarter of 2025. The conference was chaired by Comrade Le Anh Son - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Comrade Nguyen Canh Tinh - General Director of the Corporation.

Conference Overview

The conference was attended by members of the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee of the Corporation, leaders of professional departments, and representatives of member enterprises. The conference focused on evaluating the results achieved in the first quarter, with a focus on flexible direction and management, ensuring production and business goals in the context of continued market fluctuations.

The conference also discussed a number of important contents such as reviewing the work of planning Party committee officials for the 2025-2030 term, exchanging solutions to respond to new tax policies in the US market, and considering strategic initiatives to serve VIMC's long-term development orientation.

Notably, two thematic workshops were held within the framework of the conference, aiming to mobilize initiatives and contributions from units for the development strategy and solving business problems of VIMC in the new period; at the same time, disseminating and guiding the new regulations of the Corporation in the fields of finance, human resources and internal management - an important standardization step for the innovation process.

In addition, the Conference also organized an award ceremony to honor outstanding contributions and individuals who won internal competitions, including: "Silent dedication", "Pioneer for customers" and "Kaizen - Innovation" awards, contributing to spreading the spirit of responsibility, creativity and continuous efforts throughout the system.
