The conference aims to carry out the following contents: Giving opinions on the draft Report on the results of the socio-economic situation, national defense - security, Party building and the political system in 2024, directions and tasks in 2025; reporting on the results of inspection and supervision work in 2024, directions and tasks in 2025; draft Resolution of the City Party Committee on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense - security and Party building work, the political system in 2025; Work program of the City Party Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee in 2025; Inspection and supervision program of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee in 2025; giving opinions on the contents according to the Working Regulations of the City Party Committee, Standing Committee and Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, term VI, 2020 - 2025.

In 2024, in the context of difficulties and significant challenges of a slow economic recovery, extreme and erratic weather, frozen real estate market, dengue fever epidemic, and complicated livestock epidemics, significantly affecting the city's socio-economic development and people's lives. However, with the spirit of solidarity, unanimity, and determination to overcome difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee, authorities at all levels, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations from the city to the grassroots have made great efforts to lead the successful implementation of Resolution No. 12 of the Bao Loc City Party Committee. With the theme, "Discipline - Setting an example - Responsibility - Efficiency", Bao Loc City has achieved certain results.

Specifically, the growth rate of the city's production value in the year reached 6.1%; total export turnover was estimated at 262.9 million USD, an increase of 30% compared to the Resolution; the number of poor households according to multidimensional standards in the area decreased by 200 households; jobs were created for over 6,200 workers; the rate of universal health insurance reached 94%; the rate of households using hygienic water reached 98%, of which the rate of households using tap water reached 65%; the rate of solid waste collection reached 92%.

The work of inspecting and handling violations of construction order, urban order, clearing encroachment on roads, sidewalks, road safety corridors, and power grid safety has been strengthened, with many positive changes.

The cultural and social fields have been effectively implemented. Resources have been mobilized to effectively implement social security policies, care for policy families, meritorious people, the poor, social protection beneficiaries and vulnerable groups... in the city. In particular, the entire Bao Loc city has mobilized 4.7 billion VND to provide livelihoods for poor and disadvantaged households; at the same time, support people to eliminate temporary houses, build solidarity houses...

National defense - political security, social order and safety are basically maintained and stable, military recruitment meets the planned target. The work of receiving people, handling petitions, inspection, checking, preventing and combating corruption, negativity and waste is focused on implementation. Traffic accidents are reduced by more than 1/3 of the criteria (reducing the number of deaths).

The work of building the Party and the political system is directed to be implemented comprehensively in all aspects: Politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres; the style, manners, working manners, discipline, order and public ethics of cadres, civil servants and public employees are focused on promoting and promoting effectiveness in implementing tasks. The work of organizing the apparatus is consolidated, perfecting the positions of cadres and leaders from the city to the ward and commune levels.

During the year, Bao Loc City Party Committee also admitted 176 new party members, bringing the total number of party members of the entire Party Committee to 5,287. The implementation of Directive 34 of the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee on "3 things to do, 4 things to avoid" has been effectively implemented in the lives of cadres, party members and people. The local Party Committee, government and people have implemented the emulation campaign "Lam Dong province's Party Committee, government, army and people unite, determined to overcome difficulties, rise up with the country" and initially achieved positive results.

Inspection and supervision work has been promoted effectively. The work of preparing content, conditions and directing Party congresses at all levels, towards the 7th City Party Congress has been closely and regularly directed, ensuring quality and progress compared to the plan. The activities of the Front, unions and socio-political organizations have been focused on promoting and strengthening towards the grassroots.

In addition, some targets encountered difficulties and were not achieved, especially the State budget collection estimated at VND 2,776 billion, equal to 84.9% of the Resolution's target; the disbursement of public investment capital also encountered many difficulties and challenges and was estimated to reach over 98%; the work of calling for and attracting investment encountered difficulties due to the impact of the mineral exploration and exploitation planning according to Decision 866 of the Prime Minister; the implementation of public investment projects encountered difficulties due to site clearance; the implementation of planning was slow; the progress of key projects was behind schedule; social order and safety still contained many complex factors.

Discussing at the Conference, delegates focused on clarifying the achieved results, remaining shortcomings, limitations, causes and proposed solutions for implementation in the coming time.

Concluding the Conference, Comrade Ton Thien Dong - Secretary of Bao Loc City Party Committee, emphasized: 2025 is the last year of the term, conducting Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; the Revolution of streamlining the organizational apparatus in the political system from the Central to local levels with a drastic, comprehensive, thorough and synchronous spirit.

At the same time, strengthen measures and solutions to collect state budget, strive to achieve the targets assigned by the province; focus on disbursing public investment capital, capital for national target programs, strive to disburse capital sources to meet the set plan.

Continue to strictly implement the Party's directives and resolutions on Party building and political system building; resolutely reclaim public land areas that are used for the wrong purposes and ineffectively to have measures to use them effectively and avoid waste.
