The 6th Conference of the Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee (expanded)

In the first 6 months of the year, the Provincial Federation of Labor guided all levels of unions to propagate and organize emulation movements, cultural and sports activities. Propagating and organizing activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam with the theme: "The Communist Party of Vietnam - courage, intelligence, prestige, innovation for national independence and socialism".

The management and representation work to protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers has been effectively implemented; all levels of trade unions in the province have organized activities to care for 35,732 union members and workers, with a total value of 14 billion VND on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. The program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" was organized in Moc Chau town, in which the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 100 Tet gifts (1 million VND/gift); the Town People's Committee presented 76 Tet gifts (500,000 VND/gift) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; and presented charity tickets to 48 union members and workers at enterprises located in Moc Chau and Van Ho to return to their hometowns for Tet.

Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the Excellent Unit Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to the collectives.

In coordination with the working delegation of Party and State leaders, XV National Assembly deputies, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation presented and transferred 600 gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to support union members and workers in the province in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. Supported funding for the construction and repair of "Union Shelter" houses for 40 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total value of over 1.8 billion VND...

Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the Medal "For the cause of building Vietnam Trade Union Organization" to individuals.

In the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to deploy and effectively implement the Project to terminate the activities of district-level trade unions and grassroots trade unions in administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% of their salaries from the State budget; the Project to arrange and streamline the apparatus of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State under the direction of the Central Committee, Provincial Party Committee, and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Review, arrange, and perfect the executive committee, standing committee, inspection committee, cadres, civil servants, and employees of the Federation of Labor and implement the cadre regime and policies according to regulations...

Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing Workers' Month activities in 2025.

The conference also thoroughly grasped Regulation 301-QD/TW dated June 9, 2025 of the Party Central Committee on Regulations on functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the provincial and communal levels; Conclusion 167-KL/TW dated June 13, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the policy of implementing the arrangement of the apparatus and administrative units, putting them into operation at the provincial and communal levels simultaneously from July 1, 2025; Project No. 19-DA/TU dated May 19, 2025 of the Son La Provincial Party Committee on arranging and streamlining the organizational structure of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State from the provincial to grassroots levels; Project No. 41/DA-LĐLĐ, dated June 12, 2025 of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor on ending the activities of trade unions at the direct superior level, trade unions at the grassroots level of administrative agencies, and public service units receiving 100% of their salaries from the State budget under the Provincial Federation of Labor.

At the conference, the Excellent Unit Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor was awarded to 2 collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of Good Workers and building a strong trade union organization in 2024; the "For the cause of building Vietnam's trade union organization" Medal was awarded to 94 individuals. The Provincial Labor Federation awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 1 individual with outstanding achievements in organizing activities of the Workers' Month in 2025; 36 first, second and third prizes were awarded to individuals and 2 collective prizes at the Online Contest "Workers, civil servants and laborers learn about occupational safety and hygiene" in 2025.
