(BTV) On the morning of December 20, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a provincial-level reporter conference for December 2024. Comrade Nguyen Van Hung, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, chaired the conference. Attending and reporting on the topic was Comrade Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the conference, delegates listened to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong inform the topic "Outstanding socio -economic results of Bac Ninh province in 2024; directions, tasks, solutions for 2025 and the following years". In which, it was emphasized that in 2024, the Provincial People's Committee focused on organizing close direction, drastic management, and actively implementing the theme of Work in 2024. Out of a total of 17 socio-economic targets, 4 targets exceeded the plan; 13 targets achieved the set plan. GRDP in 2024 is estimated to increase by 6.03% compared to 2023. Average income per capita is estimated at 73 million VND, an increase of 14.8%. The index of industrial production (IIP) increased by 5.7%. Total retail sales of goods and service revenue increased by 10.5%. Tourism revenue increased by 50%. Total import-export turnover is estimated at 75.9 billion USD, up 1%; foreign investment attraction leads the country with 5.04 billion USD. State budget revenue is estimated at 106.18% of the estimate, up 13.92%.
In 2025, Bac Ninh province has determined the working theme: "Determined to complete the goals of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress; Directing the successful organization of Party Congresses at all levels and the 21st Provincial Party Congress; continuing to complete the synchronous and modern infrastructure system to meet the criteria of a type I urban area; creating clear changes in environmental protection, breakthroughs in digital transformation, improving the material and spiritual life of the people". Along with that, effectively implementing 5 political resolutions. Strive for a total product (GRDP) increase of 7% - 8%; Average income per capita of 76 million VND; Total import-export turnover of 77,300 million USD; Total investment capital implemented in the area of 71 trillion VND; Total state budget revenue in the area of 38,691 billion VND; Retail sales of goods and services of 108 trillion VND....
The conference also heard leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department inform about international and domestic news and orientations for propaganda work in the coming time.
