Dien Bien TV - On the morning of May 29, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications and the Provincial Journalists Association to organize a press conference for May and orientation for propaganda in June. Attending and chairing the conference were comrade Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Lo Thi Minh Phuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; comrade Vu A Bang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

In line with the propaganda orientation, in May, press agencies, electronic information portals, websites, press publications in the province and central press agencies stationed in the province have done a good job of propagating current and political issues of the province, socio-economic development tasks and national defense and security; especially widely propagating activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory. The information content ensures the correct political orientation; the quality of news and articles is in-depth and rich, meeting the information needs of cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups.

At the conference, representatives of the Dien Bien Provincial Police and the Department of Education and Training also quickly informed the news agencies and press about some contents related to: Security and order work in the province in the past time. In particular, emphasizing the results of the peak period of ensuring security and order for activities commemorating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory. Organization of the 2024 high school graduation exam in Dien Bien province. This year, Dien Bien province has more than 7,000 candidates registered for the exam. The whole province has a total of 26 official exam sites, including 11 inter-school exam sites and 15 independent exam sites, an increase of 2 exam sites compared to 2023.

Giving his opinion at the conference, Mr. Vu A Bang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, suggested that the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, in its report, should further evaluate the outstanding results of the activities celebrating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; at the same time, supplement some propaganda orientation contents in June on: High School Graduation Exam 2024; preventing accidents, injuries, and drowning for children; celebrating the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day in conjunction with the 2nd Dien Bien Provincial Press Award.

In the coming time, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the press agencies to continue to focus on promoting: The project to upgrade the rural electricity network; preserving and embellishing historical sites at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield complex.
