At the workshop, experts affirmed that artificial intelligence (AI) is not only a supporting tool but is becoming a strategic driving force, helping to comprehensively restructure management, teaching and enrollment activities in the field of vocational education.
Through automating repetitive tasks, analyzing big data, personalizing learning, and predicting career trends, AI opens up new directions for training institutions to optimize resources and increase the effectiveness of reaching learners.
At the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Lam, Technology Director of Maple Center for Science, Technology and Economic Development, introduced a model using AI virtual assistants connected to education industry databases for admissions consulting, receiving admission applications, managing records, reporting statistics, managing admissions personnel, etc.
For users, AI virtual assistants are chatbots that automatically interact and provide career advice. In particular, virtual assistants can advise thousands of people at the same time without requiring too much human resources.
For schools, virtual assistants will synchronize enrollment information with training to manage training activities most effectively, synchronize reporting data with management agencies...
Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Vocational Education Association, shared: "AI applications designed like ChatGPT can support students in experiencing counseling, providing updated labor market information, helping students develop the necessary skills for future jobs from career simulations. Using AI appropriately will help students maximize the potential of technology."
Mr. Tran Quang Sau, representative of ABE UK Education Organization, affirmed that the digital platform integrated with AI helps optimize enrollment and enhance the competitiveness of vocational schools in the global labor market.

He cited the training activities of ABE UK itself. This organization links more than 150 training centers worldwide , some of which train thousands of students but have less than 10 operating staff.
ABE centers exploit shared learning resources, support each other in terms of facilities, use a common assessment system and degrees, certificates are managed uniformly, and are easy to look up worldwide. Thanks to that, training certificates are widely recognized and easily linked to international universities.
Mr. Tran Quang Sau said: "With AI and a shared learning platform, schools can easily cooperate in training and vocational schools in remote areas can also recruit students abroad and send domestic students abroad for joint training."
Mr. Do Huu Khoa, Head of Digital Transformation Department of Ho Chi Minh City Vocational Education Association, emphasized: "In the context of the explosion of the 4.0 industrial revolution and digital transformation becoming an inevitable trend, AI is affirming its key role in improving the efficiency of management, training and enrollment, especially at vocational education institutions".
