Conference to disseminate and implement the Secretariat's Regulations on Press and Publishing work

Conference overview

The conference was attended by more than 400 officials, reporters, editors, party members of press agencies, leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, unions, socio-political organizations; leaders of provincial and municipal party committees and a number of affiliated departments, branches and sectors; press management agencies, publishing house management agencies; press agencies, publishing houses in the central government and 31 northern localities...

At the conference, comrade Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, disseminated and implemented the following regulations: Regulation No. 100-QD/TW, dated February 28, 2023 on responsibilities, powers and the appointment, dismissal, commendation and discipline of leaders of publishing houses; Regulation No. 101-QD/TW, dated February 28, 2023 on responsibilities, powers and the appointment, dismissal, commendation and discipline of leaders of press agencies; Developing a plan to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Comrade Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, disseminated new points in Regulations 100-QD/TW and 101-QD/TW dated February 28, 2023 of the Secretariat.

Comrade Le Hai Binh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, thoroughly grasped Regulation No. 85-QD/TW, dated October 7, 2022, on cadres and Party members establishing and using personal websites on the Internet and social networks. At the same time, Comrade Vu Thanh Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, thoroughly grasped Regulation No. 99-QD/TW, dated February 27, 2023, on the flag of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the use of the Party flag.

Comrade Le Hai Binh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, thoroughly grasped Regulation No. 85-QD/TW dated October 7, 2022 of the Secretariat.

The conference is an opportunity for cadres, reporters, editors, and party members of press agencies to grasp the core and important contents of the regulations of the Party Central Committee Secretariat. Of which, the four new regulations disseminated at the conference are very important documents, affirming the deep concern and direct and comprehensive role of the Party in leadership and direction; having a direct impact on Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, and party members nationwide.

Comrade Vu Thanh Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, thoroughly grasped Regulation No. 99-QD/TW, dated February 27, 2023 of the Secretariat.

The content of the regulations is carefully, thoroughly and methodically prepared, with many important innovations in content and method, smoothly combining theory and practice, inheritance and development. They need to be thoroughly grasped and seriously and methodically implemented, truly put into practice, and applied uniformly in Party committees, authorities and the entire political system.

Also at the conference, many leaders of press agencies, leaders of Propaganda Departments, Departments of Information and Communications of many localities raised discussion questions related to press and publishing management in the current period.

Comrade Do Trong Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivered a welcome speech at the conference.

On behalf of the leaders of Thanh Hoa province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Trong Hung expressed his joy and excitement and affirmed that this conference is a useful opportunity to help the provincial leaders, the provincial press and publishing agencies and all cadres and party members of the province thoroughly grasp the Regulations of the Central Party Secretariat.

In his speech directing and concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, said that the new documents disseminated at the conference were the result of the research, preliminary and final review process; he requested that delegates study carefully and fully disseminate them at their agencies and units; at the same time, seriously and effectively implement them, helping Party committees, Party organizations, press management agencies, publishers, and leaders of press agencies and publishers fully and accurately understand the new regulations of the Party.

Previously, on April 5, during a visit and work in Thanh Hoa, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department led a working delegation to offer incense at the Lam Kinh Special National Relic Site (Tho Xuan District), visit the World Cultural Heritage of Ho Dynasty Citadel (Vinh Loc District) and many other places in Thanh Hoa province.
