At the People's Committee of Ward I, Tay Ninh City, the delegation awarded 20 scholarships to students from difficult family circumstances, children of ethnic minorities from Phan Boi Chau Secondary School, Bui Thi Xuan Primary School, Tran Quoc Toan Primary School and Le Van Tam Primary School.
Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Secretary of Tan Chau District Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial Journalists Association awarded scholarships to students of Tan Chau High School.
At Chau Thanh A Town Primary School, the delegation also awarded 20 scholarships to students from grades 1 to 5 with difficult family circumstances. In the afternoon of the same day, at the People's Committee of An Co Commune, Chau Thanh delegation continued to award 20 scholarships to students of An Co Primary School and Nguyen Van Troi Primary School.
At Tan Chau High School, Tan Chau District, the ceremony was attended by Comrade Nguyen Van Cuong, Provincial Party Committee Member, Secretary of Tan Chau District Party Committee. The delegation awarded 10 scholarships to disadvantaged students with high academic achievements. Most of them are 12th graders, preparing for the upcoming high school graduation exam.
Tan Chau High School is a large school in the province, with 40 classes and more than 1,700 students. Currently, there are 70 students with difficult circumstances studying at the school, including 3 students from poor and near-poor households in the locality and many children who are orphans and have to both study and work.
On the same afternoon, the delegation continued to award 10 scholarships to students at Tran Dai Nghia High School. Although the school is located in Tay Ninh city, there are still many students with extremely difficult family circumstances who strive to excel in their studies.
Tay Ninh Journalists Association awarded 20 scholarships at Chau Thanh A Town Primary School.
This is a deeply humane activity that the Tay Ninh Provincial Journalists Association and the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development have carried out over the past 2 years, creating a positive wave in education promotion and social security activities in the province.
Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, journalist Nguyen The Luc, Permanent Vice President of the Tay Ninh Provincial Journalists Association, said: Over the past two years, the Provincial Journalists Association has coordinated with the Vietnam Journalists Association , the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association, and the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to award hundreds of scholarships to students in difficult circumstances in the province.
This is a meaningful humanitarian activity aimed at caring for, supporting and creating conditions for children from families with difficult circumstances to strive to excel in their studies. The program organizers hope that although this scholarship amount is not large, it will be truly meaningful if the children know how to use it to strive to excel in their studies and become good children and good students.
