At the program, the organizers presented 3 sets of computers to Savannakhet Provincial Youth Union, 3 blood pressure monitors to Phin District Medical Center, 30 backpacks to disadvantaged students in the district, and other necessities with a total value of nearly 200 million VND.
In addition, the delegation also organized medical examinations and provided free medicine to nearly 500 people in villages in Phin district, while at the same time propagating and instructing people on how to prevent diseases.
“This campaign is part of the Summer Youth Volunteer Month 2025 and the youth cooperation program between Quang Tri and Savannakhet provinces. This is a meaningful activity to promote the spirit of volunteering for the community of Quang Tri youth, while contributing to strengthening the special friendship and solidarity between the two provinces and the two brotherly countries of Vietnam and Laos,” said Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Quoc Toan.
The campaign will last for 3 days, from June 18 to 20, 2025.
