Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Thuong, a tax officer of Nghe An province, shared while guiding business households in Truong Vinh ward with her colleagues: "We are divided into groups, in charge of each street, each ward and commune. Many people also bring laptops and phones to support households in installing and processing on the spot."

On Nguyen Van Cu Street, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung, a long-time business owner, shared: “Before, I was quite hesitant because I heard that tax declaration and electronic invoices were complicated. But when the tax officer came to guide me, I found the operation was not difficult at all. The eTax Mobile application helps me quickly look up revenue and pay electronic taxes very conveniently and transparently. Now I am completely assured.”

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong, a Tax officer at Base 1, although the initial implementation process was difficult, it received positive support from the people. “Most business households cooperated and were proactive. For older people who rarely use technology, we patiently guided them step by step. The goal is not only to complete the target, but more importantly, to help them truly understand and use the new tool,” Ms. Phuong shared.

According to statistics, Nghe An province currently has more than 67,600 business households, of which only 1,100 households have switched to paying taxes by declaration method, nearly 29,000 households still pay taxes by lump-sum method and about 1,300 households have registered to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers...

The 30-day and night campaign to transform the model and method of tax management for business households when eliminating lump-sum tax will be implemented from November 1 to 30, 2025.

The goal is that 100% of business households that are required to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers must register and use them in accordance with regulations; 80% of business households in areas with difficult economic conditions and 100% of business households in the remaining areas install and use the Etax Mobile application; 100% of business households with revenue of 1 billion VND/year or more complete the conversion to the declaration method before November 30, 2025; Be ready to convert all business households from lump-sum tax to declaration before January 1, 2026...

To achieve this result, Nghe An Provincial Tax Department has directed grassroots units to mobilize maximum human resources and make detailed plans for each locality. Tax officials are assigned the task of not only guiding and supporting, but also urging households to complete registration, declaration, and electronic tax payment. For households that deliberately delay despite being instructed many times, the tax department will coordinate with the People's Committee, the police of the commune and ward to make a record and report for handling according to regulations.

Previously, at the launching ceremony of the Campaign "30 days and nights to transform the model and method of tax management for business households", Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An emphasized that the Tax sector and authorities at all levels need to step up propaganda so that business households clearly understand the benefits of transforming the tax management model; at the same time, localities need to support tax authorities in terms of facilities, human resources, and ensuring security and order throughout the implementation process. Up to now, 130 communes and wards in the whole province have established a Steering Committee to support the campaign...
