This morning (August 7), Secretary of the City Party Committee Ngo Van Trong chaired a workshop to contribute comments to the book "History of the Quang Ngai City Party Committee in the period 1930-2020".

The draft of the book "History of Quang Ngai City Party Committee (1930-2020)" was compiled on the basis of research, inheritance, editing and supplementation from the books "Patriotic Movement of the People and History of Quang Ngai Town Party Committee (1930-1975)", "History of Quang Ngai Town Party Committee (1975-2005)" and new sources of documents provided by the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, City Party Committee, City People's Committee, cadres and party members who fought and worked in the city through the periods, and additional writing in the period 2005-2020. After being edited and compiled, the new book has nearly 340 pages, arranged into 08 chapters and introductions, conclusions and appendices.

At the Workshop, the Editorial Board received many important comments from delegates who were former leaders of the city and town through the periods on supplementing the content and presentation of the chapters, adding some important events and milestones in the war against France and the US in the locality, highlights in the city's socio -economic development orientation in each period. Secretary of the City Party Committee Ngo Van Trong requested the Editorial Board to absorb the opinions of the delegates, continue to collect, supplement and edit inaccurate and missing items, add comparison tables of data of the periods, places, and historical relics of the city to complete the book "History of the Quang Ngai City Party Committee in the period 1930-2020" as soon as possible.
