This morning (October 28), a delegation of the Cuban Small Farmers Association led by Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Cuban Small Farmers Association, paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of the Hai Phong City People's Committee and visited the museum and the city's grand theater.

On the morning of October 28, within the framework of the working visit to Vietnam from October 25 to November 1, the delegation of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association led by Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association, and the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association led by Comrade Phan Nhu Nguyen, alternate member of the Central Committee of the Party, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of the People's Committee of Hai Phong City.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee, informed about the socio -economic development situation of the city with some main features such as Hai Phong is one of the growth poles of the Red River Delta, in recent years, Hai Phong has always been in the top development of the country. "Cuba has always been a loyal friend of Vietnam in general and Hai Phong in particular, both in wartime and peacetime", comrade Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee affirmed.

Immediately afterwards, the working delegation of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association had a working session with the Farmers' Association of Hai Phong province.

Comrade Tran Quang Tuong, member of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Hai Phong City, presented the delegation of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association with a painting symbolizing the port city.

Immediately after that, the Cuban Small Farmers Association delegation visited the Hai Phong City Museum. Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Cuban Small Farmers Association expressed his admiration for the process of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people through historical periods.
