On October 30th, in Hung Loc commune (Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province), a delegation from the Cuban Small Farmers' Association and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association visited a model of organic pomelo cultivation with five "no's": no growth stimulants, no harmful chemical residues, no chemical pesticides, no preservatives, and no herbicides.
A delegation from the Cuban Small Farmers' Association, led by Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association, and Comrade Phan Như Nguyện, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, visited the organic pomelo farming model of farmer Nguyen Van Long in Hung Loc commune (Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province).
Farmer Nguyen Van Long introduced to the Cuban Small Farmers delegation and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association his 4.5-hectare pomelo orchard, which is grown organically according to the "5 No's" principle: no growth stimulants, no harmful chemical residues, no chemical pesticides, no preservatives, and no herbicides.
Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association, highly appreciated the development and quality of grapefruit grown organically.
Reportedly, farmer Nguyen Van Long's organic pomelo orchard model has received 50% support from a local business for fertilizer and agricultural supplies.

Members of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association delegation were delighted after getting to harvest grapefruit with their own hands.
Immediately afterwards, the Cuban Small Farmers' Association delegation enjoyed grapefruit that had just been cut from the tree. Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega praised the grapefruit's quality, noting its sweet, refreshing taste and high water content.
