(ĐN)- Today, June 2, students taking the 10th grade entrance exam (school year 2023-2024) will enter the first day of the exam with 2 subjects: Math and English.

Candidates arriving at the exam site at Thong Nhat Secondary School (Bien Hoa City) were given free water by young volunteers.

Specifically, on the morning of June 2, candidates will take the Math exam with an official test time of 120 minutes, and in the afternoon, they will take the English exam with a test time of 60 minutes.

At the Thong Nhat Secondary School (Bien Hoa City) exam site this morning, students arrived at the exam site quite early. Although the exam room doesn't open until 7:00 a.m., many candidates were already there by 6:15 a.m. They sat down to review their lessons before entering the exam room.

The chairman of the examination site took the roll call of the invigilators and thoroughly explained the examination regulations one more time before starting the first exam session on the morning of June 2.

Regarding the implementation of exam regulations, thanks to the strict arrangement of exam procedures and well-trained exam invigilators, compliance with regulations and performance of tasks are clear.

Candidates are given maximum facilities during the exam. Candidates who forget to bring their exam card can still take the exam normally. Before taking the exam, candidates only need to sign a commitment to take responsibility for the exam card left at home and will be allowed to take the exam normally.

During each exam session, each exam room has 2 invigilators, of which 1 invigilator is present 30 minutes before to call the candidates into the exam room to sit according to the registration number written on the table. The second invigilator is responsible for receiving the exam papers, and when the scheduled time comes, distributes them to the candidates. The distribution of exam papers must follow the drum signal of the examination council.

During the exam, the exam inspector will continuously perform the task of observing the exam supervision work of the invigilators and members of the exam site.

On the morning of June 2, in front of the school gates of some exam sites in Bien Hoa, there was a phenomenon of parents taking their children to the exam site and then waiting outside, causing a short-term local traffic jam. However, when the police force arrived, the situation was resolved, without affecting the exam. In addition, the youth volunteer force organized to support the candidates with mineral water.

Parents take the opportunity to sit and "discuss" their children's exams in front of the school gate.

Dong Nai has over 25,300 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam (2023-2024 school year), with 40 exam sites in the province. The Department of Education and Training has mobilized 3,900 officials and teachers to participate in organizing the exam. It is expected that about 10,000 students will have the opportunity to be admitted to 21 public high schools that organize the exam. For public and private schools that do not organize the exam, admission will be based on academic records.
