Dong Nai Newspaper awards 600 scholarships to disadvantaged students in the Northern provinces.

(CLO) On October 30 and 31, Dong Nai Newspaper coordinated with Ha Giang Newspaper to organize an activity to award 200 scholarships to excellent students with difficult circumstances in Ha Giang province. It is expected that Dong Nai Newspaper will award 600 scholarships with a total value of 600 million VND to excellent students with difficult circumstances in the Northeastern provinces such as: Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Bac Kan.

On October 30, the delegation presented scholarships at three schools: Ma Le Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Ma Le Commune; Lung Cu Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Lung Cu Commune (Dong Van District) and Pai Lung Primary Boarding School and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Pai Lung Commune (Meo Vac District).

Ma Le commune has 8 schools including 1 main school and 7 satellite schools with a total of 736 students from 12 villages. Lung Cu commune has 6 schools including 1 main school and 5 satellite schools with a total of 796 students. Pai Lung Primary and Secondary Boarding School has a total of 850 students. Most of the students in the above schools are H'Mong ethnic group, the rest are Lo Lo, Giay...

It is expected that on the morning of October 31, the delegation will continue to award 50 scholarships to excellent students with difficult circumstances in Ta Lung commune (Meo Vac district).

This activity is part of a scholarship awarding trip to poor and excellent students in the Northeastern provinces, contributing to supporting the families of students who were affected by the recent floods caused by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi ).
