The event was organized by the Vietnam Women's Newspaper to commemorate the 1985th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2025), the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (1930-2025) and major national holidays in 2025. This is also an event in response to the "Ao Dai Week" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union nationwide.
Attending the event were Party Central Committee member, President of Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen.

Initiated in 2019, “Ao Dai Week” has contributed to inspiring and spreading meaningful, positive messages about love, national pride, the country, people and Vietnamese Ao Dai to the public. Since then, every March, women across the country have welcomed and organized many diverse and creative activities to honor the value of Vietnamese Ao Dai.

The Ao Dai parade event had more than 1,000 women participating, including leaders and officials of the Vietnam Women's Union; officials and members of the Hanoi Women's Union, guests; officials and students of the Vietnam Women's Academy.

In particular, the Vietnam map puzzle was made by 500 female students of the Vietnam Women's Academy in ao dai with red flag and yellow star.

This can be seen as a form of visual education, helping people to be more aware of the country's territory, sovereignty and responsibilities. This activity is not only a symbol of solidarity but also an affirmation of the important role of women in preserving and developing the country.
The event also shows that Vietnamese women are proud of the traditional Ao Dai and that the Vietnamese Ao Dai is continuing its journey to affirm its role and position in the social community, firmly entering a new era with Vietnamese women.
