More than 110 railway officials and employees participated in voluntary blood donation

On June 3, Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company, Phu Khanh Railway Exploitation Branch; Nha Trang Railway Transport Branch coordinated with the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation (VBD) of Khanh Hoa province, the Provincial Red Letter Association, and the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center to organize the 2025 VBD Festival with the theme "A drop of blood given - A thousand loves remain".

After the launching ceremony, more than 110 cadres, employees, union members and youth of 3 railway units participated in voluntary blood donation; the result was the amount of donated blood collected was more than 100 units.

Leaders of Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company presented flowers to units participating in the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival.

It is known that for more than 10 years, Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company has regularly coordinated with units to implement the HMTN program. On average, each year, the program attracts from 100 to nearly 200 people to participate in the HMTN with the amount of donated blood collected from 100 to 170 units.

According to information from the Provincial Steering Committee for Blood Donation, since the beginning of the year, the province has organized 50 blood donation campaigns with more than 11,000 participants, collecting more than 10,000 units of donated blood. Currently, the rate of people in the province participating in blood donation is 1.55%; the rate of first-time blood donors is 58.7%, the rate of repeat blood donors is 41%; the rate of donated blood usage is 100%...
