Deputy Director of the Provincial Port Management Board and Inland Waterway Port Authority Ta Cong Chuc informed that on April 5, more than 2,000 tourists were transported by ships to Ly Son Island from Sa Ky Port. It is expected that during the 3-day holiday from April 5-7, 2025, the number of visitors to Ly Son will increase dramatically, so the Management Board has planned to increase 14 trips/day, with a frequency of more than 30 minutes/trip to ensure the transportation of all passengers who want to go to the island for sightseeing and tourism.

In Ly Son district, there are more than 130 motels, homestays and 7 hotels with more than 1,000 rooms, which can accommodate more than 3,000 tourists at the same time. Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information (Ly Son District People's Committee) Ngo Dinh Thanh said that Ly Son district is coordinating with relevant agencies to strengthen the inspection of price posting of services and food hygiene and safety so that tourists coming to Ly Son can have a safe and complete vacation.

Ly Son island district is located about 15 nautical miles from the mainland, with an area of ​​over 10km ² and a population of about 22,000 people. Not only has an important strategic position in terms of national defense and security, Ly Son is also known for many scenic spots and historical relics such as Thoi Loi Mountain, To Vo Gate, Duc Pagoda, Hang Pagoda, Be Island, ... and many beautiful beaches, attracting tens of thousands of domestic and international tourists to visit every year.
