Vietnam International Exhibition of Machinery, Equipment for Marine and Shipbuilding (VIMOX 2025) brings together more than 200 businesses from 15 countries, displaying modern marine technology and equipment ecosystems, opening up many opportunities for international trade and cooperation.

The exhibition introduces a diverse ecosystem of machinery, equipment and technology serving the maritime and shipbuilding industry, spanning the following areas: technical solutions and marine equipment; shipbuilding - ship manufacturing; industrial mechanics and hydraulics; cables - components; industrial materials; automation - robots; logistics services and ship operations.
Businesses actively exchange, trade and seek cooperation opportunities.
International brands and corporations such as Wärtsilä, WinGD, Metizoft AS, Austal Vietnam, PVSM, TRIAC Composites, Golden Harvest Shipping Service… participated along with many large domestic enterprises.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Do Thanh Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Science and Technology Association (VISIA) emphasized the leading role of Ho Chi Minh City in developing the marine economy and logistics. The city currently owns important port clusters such as Cai Mep - Thi Vai, Cat Lai and is implementing the Can Gio international transit super port, with a total expected customs clearance capacity of 32.7 million TEUs - aiming to become the "logistics gateway to Southeast Asia".

Ho Chi Minh City is also a major shipbuilding center of the country with the presence of Ba Son, Hai Minh, SSIC, SSMI, PV Shipyard and FDI enterprises such as VARD, Austal, Piriou... The Ho Chi Minh City - Ba Ria Vung Tau area is also a center for oil and gas, wind power and training of high-quality maritime human resources.
The bustling trading atmosphere was recorded on the first day when the exhibition attracted more than 2,000 visitors, including ship owners, equipment manufacturers, technical experts, logistics enterprises and specialized students.
In parallel with the exhibition, a series of specialized conferences and seminars took place over 3 days, creating a forum for exchanging knowledge, technology and green and sustainable development trends in the maritime industry.
With an exhibition area of over 3,000 m², VIMOX 2025 continues to affirm its role as the leading technology and trade event of the Vietnamese maritime and shipbuilding industry, contributing to promoting international cooperation and enhancing the competitiveness of domestic enterprises.
The exhibition is organized by Fireworks Trade Media Vietnam Company (under Fireworks Trade Media Group), taking place until November 21, 2025.
