More than 300 artists participate in the program to commemorate the 725th anniversary of the death of Saint Tran.

On September 20, at the conference to deploy the traditional festival of Tran Thuong Temple and commemorate the 725th anniversary of the death of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan, the People's Committee of Tran Thuong commune (Ninh Binh province) said that this year's festival will have many activities combining the ceremony and festival.

Tran Thuong Temple is a special national relic. According to legend, this place was once a large granary of the Tran army during the resistance war against the Yuan-Mongol in the 13th century.

Tran Thuong Temple Festival in the 8th lunar month is an occasion for people across the country to commemorate the death anniversary of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan.

This is one of the two biggest festivals at the special national relic of Tran Thuong Temple, besides the Saint Tran's salary distribution ceremony which takes place at the beginning of the year. Each festival season attracts about 20,000 - 30,000 visitors, showing the gratitude and deep respect of the people for the national hero .

According to Mr. Le Duc Nhuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tran Thuong commune, this year, the ceremony will remain the same as the project approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, ensuring solemnity and tradition.

In addition, the festival and especially the opening night will have a new color, combining cultural, artistic and entertainment elements to convey messages about historical values ​​and the spirit of building and defending the nation.

The preparation and organization of the festival were carried out under the close direction of the Party Committee Standing Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tran Thuong commune.

The opening night of the festival is scheduled to take place on the evening of October 9 (August 18, At Ty year) at the square of the special national relic site of Tran Thuong Temple. The program's general director is Master Le The Song, who has directed many major national events.

Master Le The Song shared that the art night scenario was elaborately staged, combining sound systems, lighting, LED screens and modern effects with dance, music and drama, creating an epic space.

According to the script, the art program "Echoes of Tran Thuong - Thousand Years of History" is expected to gather more than 300 artists and actors, including many famous faces such as People's Artist Tu Long, People's Artist Thuy Ngan, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Meritorious Artist Le Hang, Sao Mai Champion Quach Mai Thy, Sao Mai Rendezvous Runner-up Nguyen Ngoc Anh...
