More than 300 youth volunteers overcome storm and flood consequences in Ha Hoa

On September 14, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee established a "Youth Volunteer Team to support flood recovery in Ha Hoa district" with more than 300 volunteers, including youth union members and students from inside and outside the province, to carry out flood recovery activities at Dan Thuong 2 Primary School, Dinh Trang Relic Site and Cultural House of Zone 9, Dan Thuong Commune.

The representative of the Provincial Youth Union presented a symbol of support to Ha Hoa District Youth Union to buy flood-recovery equipment worth 17 million VND.

Promoting the spirit of volunteerism, the Youth Volunteer Teams coordinated to organize activities to overcome the consequences of floods such as: mobilizing to clean up the environment, clearing the flow, rebuilding facilities, with the top priority being at schools so that students can soon return to school; coordinating to clean up and repair houses for families that suffered heavy damage after floods, helping people to soon stabilize their lives.

At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee represented VJCO Group Company, Hoang Tuan Aesthetics, businesses, philanthropists and Phu Tho Association in Hanoi to present a symbol of support to Ha Hoa District Youth Union to buy flood-recovery equipment worth 17 million VND.

It is expected that in the coming time, the Youth Volunteer Teams will continue to carry out tasks coordinated by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee with about 10,000 Youth Union members.
