BTO - On the afternoon of March 22, the first Sports Festival of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector of Binh Thuan province in 2024 took place at the provincial Gymnasium.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Huynh Thai Duong - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Bui The Nhan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with leaders of departments, districts and towns in the province, along with 350 athletes who are officials, civil servants, employees, and workers from 22 agencies, units, Federations, Associations, and provincial Sports Clubs participating in and competing in the following sports: Tug of war, sack jumping, badminton, and 5-a-side football.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism , said: The first Sports Festival of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2024 is a practical activity to celebrate the 78th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2024). At the same time, continue to maintain and develop the physical training and sports movement in the whole industry to contribute to promoting the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".
The sports festival is an activity to further strengthen the bond between brothers and sisters in the industry so that everyone can understand each other better and share experiences in work and life.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, tug of war and sack races were held, and the sports festival will take place from the afternoon of March 22 to March 24 .
