More than 400 delegates attended the conference on 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), on the afternoon of May 30, 2025, at the International Conference Center No. 11 Le Hong Phong, Hanoi, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission presided over and coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Journalists Association , Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Communist Magazine, Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Television, National Political Publishing House Truth to organize a national scientific conference with the theme "100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press accompanying the glorious cause of the Party and the nation."

The workshop was attended by Party and State leaders, representatives of central departments, ministries, branches and agencies; leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association, and more than 400 delegates who are experts, scientists and central and local press agencies.

The workshop aims to affirm the great contributions of the Vietnamese revolutionary press to the glorious cause of the Party and the nation through historical stages; to be a scientific forum for experts, scientists, generations of journalists, leaders and managers of the press to exchange and discuss theoretical and practical issues on the history of formation and development of the Vietnamese revolutionary press; from there, to draw experience, propose directions and solutions for press development to effectively serve the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new era.

At the same time, the workshop is a meaningful and practical activity to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), contributing to encouraging and motivating the press team to continue to promote the glorious tradition, constantly strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, maintain political courage, innovate, be creative, proactive, and pioneer on the ideological and cultural fronts...

According to the Organizing Committee, the Conference received 100 presentations from experts, scientists, researchers, journalists, leaders and managers in journalism, deepening the scientific and practical significance of the event of 100 years of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, expressed through 5 main contents such as:

(1) Revolutionary press accompanies the nation in the struggle for national independence (1925-1945);

(2) The Vietnamese revolutionary press accompanied the nation in the resistance war against French colonialism and American imperialism, making important contributions to the victory of the people's national democratic revolution and national reunification;

(3) Vietnamese revolutionary press accompanies the nation in building socialism nationwide and in the period of innovation and integration;

(4) New context, advantages, difficulties and issues facing Vietnamese revolutionary press;

(5) Solutions to build and develop Vietnam's revolutionary press in the new era./.
