More than 5,000 orphans and children in difficult circumstances received gifts on Children's Day (June 1)

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Implementing the Month of Action for Children and Children's Day (June 1), the Women's Union at all levels in the province proactively coordinated with philanthropists to organize many practical activities to visit, give gifts, and encourage 5,056 orphans and children in difficult circumstances in the whole province, with a total value of more than 1 billion VND, of which the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Provincial Women's Union gave 150 million VND in cash and 45 million VND in gifts.

Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union Ngo Thi Hong Hao visited and presented gifts to orphans at Hoi Long Pagoda (Hoang Hoa).

To help children celebrate Children's Day happily and warmly, the Association at all levels has mobilized more benefactors to integrate with the implementation of the program "Godmother - connecting love" to mobilize more gifts to give to orphans.

Women's Union of Thach Thanh district visited and gave gifts to orphans.

Along with that, many local Party committees have strongly participated and accompanied women's unions at all levels to join hands to take care of the children.

Lang Chanh District Women's Union mobilizes businesses to give gifts to children.

This is a practical activity, creating a bond between the “Godmother” and the children and giving the children more opportunities to study, grow up like other children, and become useful people for society. At the same time, it is an invaluable source of spiritual encouragement for the children on their journey to adulthood.

The Women's Union of Linh Toai Commune (Ha Trung) together with godmother Trinh Thi Van Dung organized a trip to the roots for 30 orphans and the branch president on the occasion of Children's Day, June 1.

The gift giving activities took place warmly, with many special performances with the wish to bring the children a joyful and happy Children's Day.
