Over 500 million VND awarded scholarships to children of union members and workers

On June 6, the City Labor Federation organized a program to commend, reward and award scholarships to 193 students who are children of workers, civil servants and laborers who achieved excellent results and overcame difficulties in their studies in the 2024-2025 school year on the occasion of the Month of Action for Children 2025.

In the 2024-2025 school year, city students won 70 national awards in many fields: science and technology, youth informatics, math Olympiad, UPU international letter writing...

At the program, the City Labor Federation honored and awarded children of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers with excellent achievements in international competitions, national high school competitions, and first prizes for excellent students in grades 12 and 9 at the city level, each prize worth 1 million VND.

In addition, the City Labor Federation awarded 73 encouragement scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND to children of full-time union officials; 300 scholarships for overcoming difficulties and striving to study well, each worth 1 million VND to children in difficult circumstances. The total cost is more than 500 million VND.

Speaking at the program, President of the City Labor Federation Phan Thi Thuy Linh praised and encouraged students to make more efforts in studying, overcome difficulties, be proactive, and confidently participate in family, school and social activities.
