More than twenty events to serve people and tourists on April 30

Mr. Vu Hong Thuan, Acting Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, said that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, 22 events will take place in the province to serve tourists and local people. Of these, 5 events will be organized at the provincial level (2 tourism events and 3 sports events); 14 events and activities will be organized at the district level and 3 activities will be responded by businesses and organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of the province.

Notably, two major provincial events including the “V-FEST ALLSTAR” Tourism Music Festival and the “V-FEST EVOLUTION” Hot Air Balloon Festival combined with music will attract a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to the locality.

Specifically, on the evening of May 1, Lam Son Stadium (Vung Tau City) will welcome tens of thousands of spectators, with the participation of leading artists such as Soobin Hoang Son, Phao, My My... Along with that are supporting activities such as beer space, check-in area, artist-audience exchange (Fanzone), DJ performances, circus, street magic, fire dancing.

On this occasion, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province organized 2 music nights combined with hot air balloon performances at Ho Tram Sea Square (Xuyen Moc district) for two days (May 2-3). The highlight is the event space rich in experiences when visitors can enjoy music from Vietnamese-international DJs and bands, and see with their own eyes hot air balloon models flying, anchoring or fixed for experience, taking photos, and checking-in.

In Long Dat district, the series of activities lasts from April 27 to May 3, including a comprehensive art program; the “Long Dat Discovery” mass running race; a coastal food festival and traditional sports activities and giant kite performances.

The series of events and activities serving the people and tourists on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day is an opportunity for tourists to Ba Ria-Vung Tau to experience unique and modern tourism products, contributing to improving the spiritual and cultural life, while promoting the image of dynamic and friendly Ba Ria-Vung Tau tourism in the hearts of tourists.
