Coach Mano Polking of Hanoi Police shared: “We assess that the second leg of the final will be a fierce competition, where the two leading teams in Southeast Asia will demonstrate their class. This is a top match, and Hanoi Police is honored to be present at this playground. In particular, the companionship and support of the fans will be a great source of motivation for us.”

Regarding the personnel situation for the competition for the title with the top football rival Thailand, coach Mano Polking said: "We brought all the best force for this match. Fortunately, there are no cases of injuries or suspensions."

Facing a high-level opponent, Mr. Polking frankly commented that his team was at a disadvantage: “It is difficult to predict anything in a top match like this. We will not have many changes in our approach to the match, however, the draw in the first leg puts us at a slight disadvantage. The goal of the whole team is to overcome that challenge to win and bring glory to Vietnamese fans.”

Midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai shared before the match that his team was not afraid of playing away, especially in a final match: “We have prepared carefully for tomorrow’s important match. All members are aiming for a good result, with the goal of bringing the Championship Cup to Vietnam.”, Quang Hai emphasized.

Chang Arena is a large stadium in Thailand, with a capacity many times larger than Hang Day Stadium. Quang Hai said he was very excited to play football with many spectators: “Personally, my teammates and I always feel excited when playing in crowded stadiums. Whether it is away or home, we always play our best. As professional players, we are too familiar with the pressure from full stands and consider it normal.”

The second leg of the 2024/2025 Southeast Asian Cup C1 final between host club Buriram and Hanoi Police Club will take place at 7:30 p.m. on May 21 at Chang Arena Stadium (Thailand). In the first leg of the final, at Hang Day Stadium - Hanoi, the two teams drew 2-2.
