The mid-cycle upgrade of the 2026 Honda CR-V e:HEV will be launched in Thailand on November 28. According to the plan, the company will stop providing all versions using the 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, instead there will be a series of versions running entirely on the e:HEV hybrid powertrain, with only a 5-seat configuration. Compared to the current version, the 2025 CR-V e:HEV has been equipped with many new technologies to enhance the user experience. Blind spot warning system and rear cross traffic alert are two safety features that appear for the first time on all versions. At the same time, Honda also officially removed the LaneWatch lane observation system.
In addition, this SUV model is also integrated with the Google Built-in platform for all versions, supporting smarter control and synchronization. A new driving mode called Individual is added, allowing personalization of the driving experience according to each person's habits. From the e:HEV ES version and above, users will experience front seats with cooling function, Bose premium sound system with 12 speakers and 10.2-inch TFT central information display screen. Along with that is the Honda CONNECT connectivity feature with Digital Key technology. Front and rear parking sensors are standard on all versions.
Honda also offers a new exterior color option – Urban Grey Pearl – exclusively for the two RS versions. The e:HEV RS version in particular has many design changes to increase sportiness such as black front and rear bumpers, side skirts and door handles in the same dark tone. The interior of the 2026 Honda CR-V e:HEV RS version is also refined with black brushed aluminum trim details, a sport steering wheel and embossed RS logos on the front seats. In terms of power, the 2025 Honda CR-V e:HEV continues to use the i-MMD hybrid powertrain, combining a 2.0L Atkinson cycle gasoline engine and two permanent magnet AC synchronous electric motors, along with a lithium-ion battery pack. The total system capacity reaches 207 horsepower and maximum torque of 335 Nm at low rpm.
The car's transmission is an e-CVT automatic, supporting two drive options including front-wheel drive and full-time four-wheel drive with the Real-Time AWD with E-DPS intelligent control system. The average fuel consumption is announced to be about 20.8 km/liter. According to expected information, the selling price of the versions will range from 1,3xx,000 to 1,7xx,000 baht (equivalent to more than 1 billion VND to about 1.4 billion VND). The car will be distributed in 5 versions, including e:HEV E 2WD; e:HEV ES 2WD; e:HEV Hunt 2WD; e:HEV RS 2WD and e:HEV RS 4WD.
