Launching the 4-wheel drive Jaecoo J7 SUV in Vietnam, priced at only 799 million VND

Recently, Omoda & Jaecoo has officially introduced the 4-wheel drive AWD Individual version for the D-size SUV - Jaecoo J7 in the Vietnamese market.

Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam has officially introduced the 4-wheel drive version called AWD Individual of the Jaecoo J7 to domestic customers. This is the 3rd version of this C-size SUV, besides the Flagship and Flagship PHEV.

In terms of design, the Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual is unchanged from the other two versions of this C-size SUV. However, the car has a new exterior color option, Jungle Green, in addition to the three familiar options including Carbon Black, Diamond White and Moonlight Silver.

In addition, the Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual also has a ground clearance of 186 mm, an approach angle of 21 degrees, a departure angle of 29 degrees and a wading ability of 600 mm. According to Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam, these are the highest numbers in the C-size SUV segment.

In addition to the full-time 4-wheel drive system, the Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual also has quite complete equipment. The interior of the car still retains the luxurious and modern style of the J7 series.

The car is equipped with a central entertainment screen upgraded to 14.8 inches; 8-speaker Sony sound system, panoramic sunroof, interior lighting system, automatic air conditioning with fine dust filter, electric driver's seat with memory position, wireless charger, hands-free electric trunk, cooled storage compartment.

The Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual has a 540-degree panoramic camera system, allowing the driver to observe the simulated 180-degree undercarriage area. The vehicle also has a head-up display (HUD) and a driver attention monitoring system (DMS), which helps to increase safety during operation.

Notably, the Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual is also integrated with an advanced ADAS driving assistance package with many active features such as automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist... Powering the Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual is a 1.6L turbocharged gasoline engine with a maximum capacity of 183 horsepower and maximum torque of 275 Nm, accompanied by a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

In the Vietnamese market, the Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual starts at VND 849 million. Meanwhile, the remaining two versions of this car line are priced at VND 799 million and VND 969 million. In November 2025, Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam will apply a preferential price of only VND 799 million for the first 50 customers to buy the new J7 AWD Individual.

Thus, compared to the 4-wheel drive versions of competitors in the same segment such as Honda CR-V L AWD, Kia Sportage 1.6 Turbo Signature AWD, Hyundai Tucson 1.6 Turbo or Mazda CX-5 2.5L Signature, Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual is significantly cheaper.

Specifically in Vietnam, Honda CR-V AWD is currently priced at 1.25 billion VND while the corresponding figure for Mazda CX-5 2.5L Signature ranges from 959 - 979 million VND, Kia Sportage 1.6 Turbo Signature AWD is 994 million and Hyundai Tucson 1.6 Turbo is 979 million VND.
