The 2025 high school graduation exam will officially take place on June 26 and 27. The entire Quang Ngai province has 14,517 candidates registered for the exam. Of these, 14,179 candidates follow the 2018 GeneralEducation Program and 338 candidates follow the 2006 General Education Program. The province has arranged 36 exam sites, 687 exam rooms, and mobilized more than 2,300 officials and teachers to work on the exam. This year's exam has many important innovations, according to the new 2018 general education program.

Specifically, the number of exam subjects is reduced from 6 to 4, including two compulsory subjects, Literature and Mathematics, and two elective subjects. The number of exam sessions is shortened to 03 sessions. The exam structure has been adjusted to enhance the ability to apply knowledge into practice, encourage critical thinking and creativity, instead of just testing memorized knowledge. Using many new question types such as short answers, true/false, analyzing non-textbook materials, requires students to have reading comprehension skills and quick response to real-life situations. In particular, the digitization of the exam delivery stage, with a data encryption system, aims to enhance security and transparency.

The leaders of the provincial Department of Education and Training emphasized that in order for the exam to be successful, serious, fair and in accordance with regulations, in addition to the preparation of the education sector and students, it is necessary to have the close support of news agencies and press to inform and propagate about the exam and important notes for candidates.
