Press conference to announce the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050 and investment promotion of Ninh Thuan province

On April 19, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Provincial People's Committee held a press conference to announce the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and promote investment in Ninh Thuan province. Attending were comrades: Tran Minh Nam, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of relevant departments and branches; central and local press agencies.

At the press conference, the leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment provided an overview of the content of the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and key information related to the conference to announce the provincial planning and promote investment in Ninh Thuan. Accordingly, the conference to announce the provincial planning and promote investment in Ninh Thuan is scheduled to take place on April 28 at Long Thuan Hotel & Resort, No. 1 Yen Ninh Street, Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, with the theme: "Ninh Thuan - Land of convergence of different values". At the conference, the province will provide basic information on the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; introduce and promote the image of the province, its potentials, advantages, preferential policies, and development orientations to domestic and foreign investors. Organize the awarding of investment policy decisions, investment certificates, and signing of cooperation agreements with investors.

Within the framework of the conference, the province organized sideline activities, including: Inauguration of Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway; Workshop on green energy, green hydrogen and carbon-neutral industrial zones; Investment promotion booth combined with display of typical products of the province and display of maps on land allocation and zoning, development of important industries and fields such as: Industrial zones, clusters, coastal tourism development; electricity and energy supply. In addition, to celebrate the 49th anniversary of Ninh Thuan Liberation Day (April 16, 1975 - April 16, 2024); Liberation of the South, National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024), the province organized a bicycle race and opened a walking street in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City on April 27, 2024.

At the press conference, reporters from newspapers and radio stations asked many questions about the conference, such as: Propaganda work before, during and after the conference to announce the provincial planning. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Provincial planning plays an extremely important role for regions and localities in organizing development space, creating new opportunities, new values and new motivations for the coming period. Through that, it is possible to attract investment and mobilize resources to realize the provincial planning. Enhance the role and awareness of all levels, branches, business communities and people in organizing and supervising the implementation of planning. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested central and local press agencies to focus on promoting communication work before, during and after the conference, ensuring the right direction, fully conveying the main contents of the provincial planning, the potentials and investment opportunities in Ninh Thuan.
