Promises many explosions at the 2023 National Student Basketball Tournament Finals

After nearly 1 month of qualifying, the 8 best men's and 6 best women's teams have reached the final round of the 2023 NUC National Student Basketball Tournament to compete for the champion. Of which, 7 men's and 5 women's teams are the best performing teams in 3 regions along with 1 men's and 1 women's team of the national final host unit.

The 2023 National Student Basketball Tournament Finals promises to be exciting and dramatic.

In the men's category, the 8 teams participating are Hanoi National University of Education, Danang University, University of Transport, Foreign Trade University, Vietnam Maritime University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, RMIT University, Hoa Sen University. In the women's category, there are 6 teams: Ton Duc Thang University, Hanoi National University, Foreign Trade University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Danang University, Hanoi National University of Education.

Of which, Danang University, Foreign Trade University and Hanoi National University of Education are the schools with both men's and women's teams participating in the final round. The reigning champion of the 2022 men's event, RMIT University, despite almost completely rejuvenating its squad, retaining only 30% of the members who won the championship a year ago, still won the top spot in the Southern region, to be named in the list of the 8 strongest teams nationwide this year.

In the women's category, Ton Duc Thang University began its journey to defend its championship title with great difficulty as the team that won the title at NUC 2022 was missing many positions. However, the new personnel successfully filled the gaps and the female students of Ton Duc Thang University excellently won the top position in the Southern region after defeating Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance.

The final round will take place at Hanoi National University of Education (Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, Hanoi).
