Hue: GRDP growth in the first quarter of 2025 is the highest ever

That is the information provided by the People's Committee of Hue City at the regular press conference of the first quarter of 2025, announcing the results of the city's socio -economic development on the afternoon of April 1.

At the press conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance Phan Quoc Son informed about the city's socio-economic development situation in the first quarter of 2025. The announcement of the General Statistics Office showed that the economic growth rate of GRDP in the first quarter is estimated at 9.9%. This is the highest growth rate ever, which will create the foundation and driving force for growth of 10% or more in 2025.

In the service sector, the number of visitors to Hue is estimated at nearly 1.5 million, up 62% over the same period; total export turnover is estimated at 318 million USD, up 23% over the same period; total import turnover is estimated at 244.8 million USD. Total retail sales of goods and social consumer services are estimated at 15,700 billion VND, up 18% over the same period; the industrial, agricultural , and socio-cultural sectors also have many bright spots...

State budget revenue in the first quarter is estimated at VND3,520 billion, equal to 28.5% of the estimate and up 28% over the same period; disbursement of public investment capital reached 23% of the plan, higher than the national average and among the top 10 localities. Notably, in the first quarter, the city created favorable conditions to support and remove many difficulties and obstacles for investors to complete procedures to start construction of a number of key projects...
