Majestic military parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory

Immediately after the Rally to Celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium, at exactly 8:45 a.m. on May 7, the Parade Program with the participation of 12,000 people, including all forces of the Army, Militia and Self-Defense Force, Police, departments, branches and social organizations officially began.

The parade began with 21 artillery rounds to the background of the National Anthem of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This was followed by a performance by 11 armed helicopters of the Air Defense - Air Force Service under the Party and National flags, symbolizing the ideals, beliefs, bravery, intelligence, and strength of the great national unity bloc, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, which created the Dien Bien Phu Victory - the Victory of patriotism, the indomitable will, and resilience of the Vietnamese people, of great historical significance, of epochal stature, for the country to "blossom" with independence, prosperity, and happiness.

Next is the performance of the Parade block (4 Honor Guard blocks, 24 Army, Militia, and Police blocks) and the Parade block (9 Veterans, Youth Volunteers, Frontline Workers, Workers, Farmers, Intellectuals, Youth, Women, and Northwest Ethnic Groups blocks) and finally the performance of the Arts block.

The parade is an important highlight of the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, contributing to affirming the significance, stature and great historical value of Dien Bien Phu Victory; demonstrating the invincible spirit and strength of the great national unity bloc; the tradition of patriotism, the will of self-reliance and self-strengthening, and the continuous development and growth of the Vietnam People's Army, the Militia and Self-Defense Force and the People's Public Security over the past 70 years under the leadership of the Party.
