Hung Yen strives to welcome 2.3 million tourists in 2025

(CLO) The Steering Committee for Tourism Development of Hung Yen province has just held a conference to review tourism work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

In 2024, the Hung Yen Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee directed and operated tourism activities promptly and effectively. Tourism businesses were proactive and well prepared for infrastructure conditions and activities to serve tourists.

To date, the total number of licensed travel agencies in the province is 16, including 7 international travel agencies and 9 domestic travel agencies. The province has about 280 tourist accommodation establishments with about 3,400 rooms. Tourism propaganda and promotion work has many innovations and diversity, gradually applying effective digital platforms. During the year, the province welcomed about 1.5 million visitors. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 950 billion VND.

In 2025, the whole Hung Yen province strives to welcome 2.3 million tourists, an increase of about 15% compared to 2024. Continue to implement the goal of developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector; urge, inspect and monitor tourism businesses; coordinate with Hung Yen Tourism Association to mobilize tourism businesses to promote tourism, improve service quality, research and supplement new tourism products and prepare well for tourist service conditions.
