On the morning of May 31, the Career Orientation program for students in 2025, with the theme "Choosing a career for the future with you" was held at the Children's House of District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, attracting a large number of secondary school students to attend.
Secondary school students enthusiastically participate in career exploration games
The highlight of the program is the practical interactive activities, creating a fun atmosphere and helping students get acquainted with the concepts of careers in Vietnam today. Students are divided into groups according to their interests and passions, and participate in activities such as: "choosing the right career", "guessing the career by gestures" and "describing the job of each career".
In addition, students also receive advice from experts on shaping their future careers, helping them identify a career that suits them; and take the "HOLLAND - choosing the right major" test.
Phan Thanh Ngan, a student in class 6A9, Tran Phu Secondary School (District 12), excitedly said that although it was summer vacation, she still liked participating in activities like this to meet more friends.
"After watching my friends describe their professions on stage, I volunteered to answer and was sure it was hairdressing" - Thanh Nhan confidently said.

The activity attracted many 6th grade students to participate.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Cuong, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Employment Service Center, said that this is a series of key career guidance activities, jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and the Youth Employment Service Center.
"The event is held at 17 locations, lasting until June 21, for more than 2,100 secondary school students in the area. Special attention is paid to secondary school students in suburban areas, helping them access many careers and job opportunities in the future. If you choose the right major, you will shorten your study time and achieve the highest learning efficiency," said Mr. Cuong.
According to experts, career guidance from junior high school level is very necessary. Dr. Dang Minh Su, former Head of the HCM City Department of Vocational Education, said that theeducation sector needs to invest in developing professional organizations to expand and comprehensively scale career guidance activities for students of junior high and high schools.
"Career education also needs to be enhanced from secondary school level, not only stopping at consulting but also practical experience" - Dr. Su emphasized.
