U Minh Ha National Park is considered the center of the Melaleuca forest ecosystem of Ca Mau province, with a total area of ​​over 8,500 hectares, accounting for nearly 20% of the total Melaleuca forest area of ​​the province, located in 4 communes, belonging to U Minh and Tran Van Thoi districts; is one of the 3 core areas of the Mui Ca Mau World Biosphere Reserve, the only place with primeval Melaleuca forest in the province (over 1,700 hectares).
