Spread the spirit of preserving Vietnamese language

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Vietnamese Consul General in Fukuoka, Japan, Ms. Vu Chi Mai emphasized: “Preserving and spreading the Vietnamese language in the overseas Vietnamese community is a sacred task, connecting the young generation with their roots. The representative agencies will continue to accompany, connect and support practical initiatives like this program.”
From Thailand, Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh (Khon Kaen) shared: “The Vietnamese community in Thailand has a long history, and teaching Vietnamese to the younger generation has always been of interest to the community. This training course is a valuable opportunity for teachers in many countries to learn modern methods, closely connected with the country. This is an important foundation to jointly preserve the Vietnamese language and nurture love for the homeland in the hearts of the younger generation.”
The dedication of the teaching staff and students

Not only a summation, the closing ceremony also became a space for lecturers and students to express their feelings after nearly two months of attachment. The stories, experiences and sincere sharing affirmed the meaning of the training course, fostering a sense of responsibility and love for the Vietnamese language.
According to the Organizing Committee's summary, the training course took place from July 26 to September 20, 2025, with 5 key online learning sessions with practical content; More than 550 teachers and students attended from 30 countries and territories; Hundreds of lessons were sent, contributing to the formation of a common resource for teaching; The teaching staff includes: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Thuyet, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Thi, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Cam Lan, Dr. Nguyen Khanh Ha.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee also announced a series of upcoming activities such as: Official launch of the Global Network for Teaching Vietnamese Language and Culture, connecting online globally on September 29.
Building a “Map of Vietnamese classes worldwide” to serve as a basis for planning support policies. Cooperating with the Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT): digitizing documents, developing electronic learning resources, applying information technology in teaching and learning.
