Krong Ana District: Support 183 female households to escape poverty and near poverty from Project 939

As the unit directly in charge of advising on the implementation of Project 939 in the entire district, the District Women's Union has closely followed the direction and orientation of the Provincial Women's Union, concretizing the tasks of implementing Project 939 in accordance with local and unit conditions; exceeding all targets according to the plan.

In the period of 2017 - 2025, the District Women's Union coordinated to propagate and raise awareness about employment and entrepreneurship for over 14,600 female members; awarded over 2.4 billion VND in start-up capital to 185 start-up models of female members; supported the establishment of 2 cooperatives and 2 cooperative groups managed by women; provided legal aid to help 4 newly established enterprises and business households with female owners.

Through Project 939, the Women's Union at all levels has helped 120 women's households escape poverty and 63 households escape near-poverty, contributing to reducing the poverty rate in the entire district from 10.23% (in 2018) to 1.73% (by the end of 2024).
