Krong Nang District: 15/22 targets achieved and exceeded the Resolution

On June 6, the Party Executive Committee of Krong Nang district held a mid-term review conference to implement the Resolution (NQ) of the 8th District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

Attending and directing the conference was comrade Le Van Nghia, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

In the first half of the term, the Standing Committee and the District Party Executive Committee issued 12 resolutions, 34 programs, 19 directives, 156 plans, 8 regulations and many other documents to lead and direct the implementation of socio-economic, national defense and security, Party building and political system building fields; organized 56 meetings of the District Party Standing Committee to promptly give opinions on matters under its authority.

Up to now, the district has achieved and exceeded 15/22 targets according to the Resolution. Of which, the average growth rate of production value reached 7.83%/year (Resolution is 7-8%/year); forest coverage rate reached 19% (Resolution by 2025 is 17.5%); ensuring irrigation water for 80% of crop area (Resolution by 2025 is 82.5%); annual state budget revenue and expenditure both met and exceeded the set targets; the rate of malnourished children under 5 years old decreased to 13.4% (Resolution by the end of 2025 is reduced to below 13%); the rate of families achieving cultural titles is over 88% (Resolution by 2025 is 85%); villages, hamlets, agencies and units achieving cultural titles are 90% (Resolution by 2025 is 82%); Every year, new jobs are created for about 2,000 workers (Resolution is 2,000 workers); the rate of asphalt and concrete roads reaches 73-75% (Resolution by 2025 is 60%); every year the rate of investigation and discovery of criminal cases reaches 85% or more (Resolution below 90%); National Defense and Security are maintained, the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army every year reaches 100% of the assigned target. The district has 6/11 communes meeting new rural standards (reaching 54.54%), it is expected that by the end of 2025, 7/11 communes and 1 commune will meet advanced new rural standards...

The work of Party building and political system building continues to be focused on. Through annual classification, 100% of the subordinate Party grassroots organizations have fulfilled their tasks well (Resolution has 80% or more). The work of developing new Party members has met and exceeded the targets assigned by the Provincial Party Committee. Since the beginning of the term, 408 new Party members have been admitted, bringing the total number of Party members in the district to 5,070 comrades.

Promoting the achieved results, in the next half term, the Standing Committee of the Krong Nang District Party Committee proposed a number of solutions such as: continuing to lead and direct the good implementation of Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (12th tenure), Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW, dated October 25, 2021 of the 13th Party Central Committee on "Promoting the building and rectification of the Party and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling, and strictly handling cadres and party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" associated with the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo; promoting the spirit of solidarity and unity, implementing the principles of centralism and democracy, upholding the spirit of "self-criticism" and "criticism"; promoting trade promotion, expanding the export market for the district's key products such as: coffee, macadamia, durian, avocado; building defense works according to plan and standards. Prepare necessary conditions to organize district defense area drills in 2023; assign targets to mass organizations to introduce outstanding union members and members to develop the party...

Speaking at the conference, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee Le Van Nghia acknowledged the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Krong Nang district in the past half term. At the same time, he suggested that in the coming time, the district should focus on leading and directing the implementation of solutions to arouse and maximize the potential and advantages of the locality, especially taking advantage of natural conditions and traditional cultural values to develop tourism; creating favorable conditions and a friendly environment to attract investors; enhancing the application of science and technology in production; taking care of comprehensive socio-cultural development; firmly consolidating national defense and security, ensuring social order and safety; strengthening Party building and building the political system; promoting the prevention and fight against corruption and negativity; innovating the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the direction of "being close to the people, close to the people"...
