Dak Lak has allocated more than 362 billion VND to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.

According to information from the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the province, the total number of households in need of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Dak Lak province was initially 7,312; however, after review, 1,735 houses were not eligible for construction support; the remaining 5,577 houses needing construction support.

Accordingly, as of May 10, the whole province has supported the construction and repair of 3,776 houses (reaching a rate of 67.7%), including: 3,534 new houses and 242 houses repaired; 430 houses have been handed over and put into use.

Specifically, housing support for people with revolutionary contributions is 156/176 units; housing under the National Target Program under Decision No. 90/QD-TTg includes 208/854 units; the National Target Program under Decision No. 1719/QD-TTg includes 719/877 units; housing under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households is 2,693/3,670 units.

Thus, from now until October 31, 2025, Dak Lak province needs to eliminate 1,801 temporary and dilapidated houses.

To implement the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, the province has allocated more than 362.2 billion VND to units and localities, including: more than 200 billion VND from registered donations of agencies, localities, enterprises inside and outside the province, officials and people in the province (registered donations of more than 201.7 billion VND); 33.6 billion VND from the source of saving 5% of regular expenditure in 2024 and nearly 128.6 billion VND from the state budget under 2 national target programs (Program 1719 and Program 90).
