Specifically: The District People's Committee issued Decision No. 828/QD-UBND, dated February 14, 2025, on supplementing the targeted budget for the People's Committees of communes and towns to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in need of housing repairs in 2025. The total allocated budget is 2.88 billion VND, taken from the 5% savings fund of the district level in 2024, transferred to the implementation source in 2025.
In addition, the District People's Committee also coordinated with the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to organize a launching ceremony to support the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district in 2025. The District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee issued a Plan to mobilize the "For the Poor" Fund in Krong Bong District in 2025 to support the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the district in 2025.
Up to now, agencies, units, businesses and philanthropists have donated 247 million VND to implement the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district.

According to the plan, in 2025, Krong Bong district will support the construction and repair of a total of 609 houses for poor and near-poor households (of which 513 houses will be newly built; 96 houses will be repaired). During the review process, communes and towns submitted a request for adjustment and supplementation to build 769 new houses; repair 56 houses.
Up to now, the units have started construction of 330 new houses (of which 58 have been completed and 21 have been handed over for use; 125 have completed the foundation; 126 have completed the body). Of the 56 houses that need repair, 32 have been completed and handed over for use, while the remaining 24 are under construction.
To continue to deploy and implement the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Krong Bong district to achieve the set goals, the District People's Committee has requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to advise the Provincial Steering Committee for Elimination of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses to consider and pay attention to the number of newly built households in Krong Bong district, creating conditions for the district to strive to complete the number of repaired houses before May 15, 2025 and complete the number of newly built houses before August 30, 2025.
