More than 300 athletes participate in the Sports Festival for workers, civil servants and laborers of the Industry and Trade sector

On the morning of May 9, the Trade Union of Industry and Trade organized the opening ceremony of the 16th Sports Festival for workers, civil servants and laborers in 2025.

The sports festival took place over three days (May 9-11), with more than 300 athletes from 20 grassroots unions participating, competing in 7 sports: men's soccer, badminton, table tennis, tennis, chess, sack race and tug of war.

The sports festival is a practical activity to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Industry and Trade sector's Traditional Day (May 14, 1951 - May 14, 2025) and respond to Workers' Month and Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025.

The organizers presented flowers and souvenir flags to the participating units.

This is an opportunity for union members and workers to exchange experiences; encourage and promote the movement of health training to improve the quality and efficiency of work and production, contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks of agencies, units and enterprises in the whole industry.
