The authorities discovered more than 25 tons of frozen food of unknown origin.

The warehouse is owned by Mr. D.XS, residing in Hamlet 1, Quang Long Commune, Hai Ha District. The discovered frozen foods include: 25 tons of squid, 300 kg of beef tripe and 160 kg of chicken feet contained in cardboard boxes and plastic baskets.

All of the goods had no information about their origin, many products had signs of odor and did not ensure food hygiene and safety.

Mr. D.XS confessed that he had purchased these goods floating on the market for business purposes, without invoices, vouchers or any legal documents proving their origin.

Market Management Team No. 4 has temporarily detained all goods, drawn up a record of violations and completed the dossier for handling according to the provisions of law.
