A vibrant and creative cultural and artistic space for children

On the evening of May 29, in Hoa Lu city, Ninh Binh province, the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, held the opening ceremony of the 26th World Children's Day - 2025.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong emphasized that World Children's Day is an annual activity of profound significance, not only creating a useful playground for children during the summer but also a cultural andeducational space rich in humanity, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party, State and the whole society for the young generation - as President Ho Chi Minh advised: "For the benefit of ten years, plant trees, for the benefit of a hundred years, educate people". At the same time, it enhances the responsibility of families and society towards children, the future owners of the country.

From the experiences at this year's Festival, the children not only practice their observation, creativity, and communication skills, but also nurture and shape their personalities, awaken their dreams and aspirations for a beautiful life from an early age. These are valuable provisions for them to confidently step on their journey to adulthood.

Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong believes that through this Festival, children will have more interesting experiences, beautiful memories and, most of all, more motivation to practice, study and follow the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho, worthy of being good children, good students and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho.

Right at the opening ceremony, the children had the opportunity to interact with People's Artist Xuan Bac and People's Artist Tu Long; enjoy the unique art of puppetry and participate in many attractive cultural and artistic activities opening the series of exciting programs in the Festival.

The 26th World Children's Day - 2025 will take place with many unique and attractive activities, bringing a lively and creative cultural and artistic space, combining tradition and modernity such as: Photo exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh with children"; photo exhibition cluster "Children - Kindergarten of the country"; Festival "Childhood Book Pages"...

The Organizing Committee especially offers children a series of creative and fun activities including: Propaganda, guidance on fire prevention and fighting safety skills, experience as a firefighter; experience circus arts - variety shows and puppetry; practice making traditional craft products; dream rolling playground; instructions on "Safe driving", experience "Touching the colorful world"...

Special art programs such as: "Hello Summer 2025" concert with the theme "Brilliant Summer"; "English Arena" exchange at primary school level; circus and variety show "Welcome to the happy summer", "Summer Dance", "Floating Clouds", "Childhood Kite", "Childhood Night"; puppetry program "Fairy Tale World"... promise to bring many interesting and useful experiences for teenagers and children. The Organizing Committee arranges an area for displaying and communicating about children's rights, introducing communication products about children's rights and child protection work.

The XXVI World Children's Day - 2025 is a combination of educational and experiential activities and special art programs for children to create a healthy, useful and highly educational cultural, entertainment and recreation destination for children in the summer. The festival takes place from May 29 to June 2.
