Lao Cai City: Funding support for building 91 houses for households with revolutionary contributions and poor households

To date, Lao Cai city has completed disbursing funds to support housing construction and repair for 91/91 households; worth nearly 5.7 billion VND.

Implementing Resolution No. 50-NQ/TU dated July 3, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on "Support for building houses for households with revolutionary contributions, martyrs' relatives; poor households, near-poor households in Lao Cai province until 2025", Lao Cai City Party Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 2797-CV/TU dated July 10, 2024 on directing the implementation of Resolution No. 50-NQ/TU.

Lao Cai city supports funding and starts construction of 91 houses for households.

The City Party Committee directs the City People's Committee to preside over, coordinate and direct all levels of government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio -political organizations of the city, specialized agencies and related units to specify their functions and tasks into plans and programs that are close to the actual situation for implementation; clearly assign responsibilities, progress and completion time.

In addition, propaganda and mobilization of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, union members, association members and people to actively respond and participate. Thereby, mobilizing the participation of the entire political system, focusing all resources to support the elimination of temporary houses, dilapidated houses for households with meritorious services, relatives of martyrs, poor and near-poor households with housing difficulties in the city; setting a common goal that by the end of 2025, 100% of households with meritorious services, relatives of martyrs, poor and near-poor households in the city will complete the repair and construction of new houses.

Up to now, Lao Cai city has completed disbursing funds to support the construction and repair of houses for 91/91 households (90 households building new houses, 1 household repairing a house), worth nearly 5.7 billion VND, reaching 100% of the plan; of which, Thong Nhat commune has 21 houses, Coc San commune has 3 houses, Hop Thanh commune has 42 houses, Ta Phoi commune has 23 houses, Cam Duong commune has 1 house, Pom Han ward has 1 house. The above houses have been completed, repaired and put into use.

In the coming time, Lao Cai city will continue to guide and support cadastral measurement to issue Land Use Right Certificates to households, striving to complete the issuance of Land Use Right Certificates to households before June 30.
