Hyundai Santa Fe 2024 has changed dramatically, looks "luxurious" like Land Rover

(Dan Tri) - This is the first time since 2018 that the Hyundai Santa Fe has been completely redesigned, and it is truly a "makeover", with a square appearance and a new recognizable H-shaped light cluster.

Hyundai will officially introduce the 5th generation of Santa Fe next August, but the company has just released a set of photos revealing the completely new design of this SUV/crossover model. Accordingly, the 2024 Santa Fe has a Land Rover-like appearance, looking much more premium than the current design.

The new generation Santa Fe is introduced as an SUV that can meet the needs of urban life with picnics.

The front of the car is designed to be square and high, similar to the typical style of Land Rovers, while the new identifying feature of Santa Fe in particular and Hyundai cars in general in the future will be the H-shaped daytime running lights. The lower grille is also H-shaped.

With a longer wheelbase, the 2024 Santa Fe promises a more spacious interior, along with comfortable rear storage for long family trips.

The rear of the new Santa Fe is also designed to be square like the front, creating an overall look that is extremely similar to the Land Rover. However, compared to the front of the car, the rear is somewhat simpler, with the highlight being the H-shaped light cluster.

The raised and sculpted wheel arches give the car an off-road look, while the massive 21-inch wheels sit below.

Hyundai says the new Santa Fe has a longer wheelbase and a larger tailgate for increased cargo space.

Although specific specifications have not been released, Hyundai claims that when both the second and third rows of seats are folded down, the Santa Fe will have the largest trunk in its segment.

In contrast to the somewhat ostentatious exterior, the interior space is quite simple and elegant. Many interior details also have the same H-shape as the exterior because the designers used many vertical and horizontal lines, creating a sense of openness.

Like many other new models, the new Santa Fe is equipped with curved screens, including a 12.3-inch digital dashboard and an entertainment screen tilted towards the driver. In addition, higher-quality interior materials promise to help elevate the new Santa Fe.

Hyundai hasn't revealed any technical specifications, but the "2.5T" lettering on the rear of the car suggests the 2024 Santa Fe will be powered by a 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. In the current version, this engine produces 277 horsepower and 422Nm of torque.

In the North American market, there will also be a hybrid version, while in Europe, the 2024 Santa Fe can be equipped with a hybrid system using a 1.6L T-GDi turbocharged I4 engine with a capacity of 226 horsepower and a plug-in hybrid engine with a capacity of 261 horsepower.

The new generation Hyundai Santa Fe will officially launch on YouTube in August.
