On November 9, the White House said that Israel has agreed to suspend military operations for four hours each day in the northern Gaza Strip to allow people in the area to evacuate from the war between Israel and the Hamas movement.
Speaking to reporters, US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said: "Israel will begin implementing a four-hour daily pause (in military operations) in areas north of the Gaza Strip."

According to Mr. Kirby, the first humanitarian ceasefire will be announced on November 9 and Israel has committed to announcing it three hours before the start of the ceasefire.
At the same time, Israel is also opening a second corridor for civilians to evacuate areas that are currently the focus of the military campaign against Hamas. This corridor is a coastal road connecting to the North-South Highway of the Gaza Strip.

* The Italian Ministry of Defense announced that it is sending a hospital ship to assist Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and is expected to arrive in the next few days. The Indonesian Navy is also preparing to send the hospital ship KRI dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat on a humanitarian mission to treat people in Gaza.
* The International Rescue Committee (IRC) has warned that nearly 1.5 million Palestinian civilians displaced by Israel's offensive on the Gaza Strip face a collapsing health system and little access to clean water; diseases such as cholera and typhoid are "inevitable to spread" due to lack of clean water and access to proper sanitation.

* Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Mr. Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO member countries support a humanitarian ceasefire in the conflict between Israel and Hamas to facilitate relief goods into the Gaza Strip.
* US President Joe Biden expressed pessimism about the possibility of a three-day ceasefire in the Gaza Strip in exchange for the release of hostages by the Hamas movement.
