In the casting call video , Johnny Tri Nguyen made an impressive appearance with a strong appearance, his hand resting on a sword. He and his crew are looking for suitable faces for a series of important roles such as: warrior Nguyen Phong, An Nhien, General Ta, Quan Van, Muong shaman, one-eyed assassin, eunuch general and queen Duong. These characters are identified as key in the journey leading the epic plot, full of action and emotion.

The actor said the film will have many high-intensity fighting scenes, requiring the actors to have endurance, a strong spirit and a passion for the profession. Successful candidates will undergo a 5-month training process in martial arts, horse riding and sword fighting before filming.

Director Nguyen Phan Quang Binh and Johnny Tri Nguyen will directly select actors in the North and South. Specifically, the casting in Ho Chi Minh City will take place on May 15 and 16 at BHD Star Cinema Vincom 3-2; in Hanoi, it will be on May 20 and 21 at Vincom Pham Ngoc Thach.

The project is expected to start filming in November and December 2025 and be released to audiences in the second quarter of 2026.
