Opening of the Bac Ninh Provincial High School Sports Tournament for the 2024-2025 school year

On the morning of April 8, at the Provincial Multi-purpose Gymnasium; The Department of Education and Training held the opening ceremony of the Bac Ninh Provincial High School Sports Tournament for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an annual sports tournament for students from primary, secondary to high school levels throughout the province.

The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags to the participating teams.

The Bac Ninh Provincial High School Sports Tournament for the 2024-2025 school year attracted a total of 1,091 athletes, who are students from the Department of Education and Training of districts, towns, and cities; high schools, and VocationalEducation - Continuing Education Centers throughout the province. Participating in the Tournament, athletes compete in 5 subjects: Soccer, Shuttlecock, Chess, Badminton, and Swimming. Accordingly, the Tournament takes place from April 2 to May 20, 2025; competing in a rolling format for each subject at the following locations: Shuttlecock, Badminton held at the Provincial Sports Center; Soccer at Bac Ninh Specialized High School; Chess at Bac Ninh College of Education and Swimming at Nguyen Dang Dao High School, Tien Du District.

Immediately after the Opening Ceremony, athletes competed in Shuttlecock events with many interesting and attractive shots. The high school sports tournament is an annual activity of the Education and Training sector in response to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", promoting the school sports movement; contributing to improving the health and comprehensive physical development of students. At the same time, the tournament is also a condition for the Organizing Committee to discover, select and nurture excellent athletes to participate in the national high school sports tournament in 2025.
